The role you’ll contribute:
Schedulers will perform various duties related with scheduling diagnostic and therapeutic procedures at all clinical sites of Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Schedules wound care and hyperbaric appointments in Cerner application.
- Responsible for the accuracy of the department scheduling books in Cerner application.
- Obtain needed patient information for coding and insurance purposes.
- Register new wound care and hyperbaric patients.
- Verifies patient insurance and collaborates to monitor ongoing needs.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:- Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
- Multi-line telephone system, facsimile, copy machine, computer, scanner, calculator, and other standard business office machines.
- Basic typing, math and English skills
- Customer service oriented interpersonal skills
