Plant Accountant provides accounting services for a plant. Responsibilities include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Being a Plant Accountant complies and prepares analysis and reports of accounting activity and data. Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and reconciliations. Additionally, Plant Accountant typically requires a bachelor's degree of accounting or related field. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Plant Accountant gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Supervisor: Senior Accounting Manager
Status: Non-exempt, full-time.
Wage: Salary begins at $58,000 annually, adjusted for experience.
Number of Openings: One.
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Hybrid office setting.
Paid training is provided to all new hires. During your first few weeks of employment, you will take a number of in-person classes, virtual classes over Zoom, and self-paced online courses. Your supervisor will also schedule you for on-site orientations. Trainings include (but are not limited to): CPR/First Aid, nutrition, medication administration, crisis intervention, driving safety, and the legal rights and protections of Individuals Served. Trainings vary by position.
