Plant Inspector jobs in Flint, MI
Plant Inspector inspects finished products for conformance to specifications using fixed or preset measuring instruments. Checks for irregularities and ensures that final products conform with established tolerance levels for quality and performance. Being a Plant Inspector documents all instances of non-conformance and rejected products in production reports. Prepares required inspection certifications. Additionally, Plant Inspector requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Plant Inspector works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our team. As a Scaffold Builder, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling scaffolding structures to support construction projects. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in fabricating, masonry, hardscape, and carpentry.Duties:
- Build and dismantle scaffolding structures according to blueprints and specifications
- Erect scaffolding systems using various materials such as wood, metal, and concrete blocks
- Ensure scaffolds are stable, secure, and meet safety standards
- Inspect scaffolding components for damage or wear and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with construction teams to determine scaffold requirements for specific projects
- Safely operate heavy equipment to transport scaffolding materials
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while working at heights
- Maintain a clean and organized work areaRequirements:
- Proven experience as a Scaffold Builder or similar role
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation for material transportation
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work at heights for extended periods of time
