Responsibilities:- Enforce local, state, and federal laws, maintaining peace and order within the community;
- Provide timely and efficient emergency response, ensuring the safety of individuals in need;
- Generate detailed written reports, conduct interviews, and testify at court proceedings, contributing to the justice system;
- Work under the supervision of experienced professionals, including the Chief of Police;
- Enjoy the independence of performing your duties with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years;
- Possess an APSC Basic Certification or higher. Or certified in another state;
- Possess a valid Alaska driver's license or the ability to obtain one.
