We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vacation Rental Manager to oversee our rental properties. As a Rental Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the rental process, from marketing and leasing to tenant relations and property maintenance. This is a key role in our organization, requiring excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.
Duties:
- Manage the booking process, including advertising available units, conducting property tours/quality control walkthroughs, and vetting potential guests.
- Negotiate lease agreements and ensure compliance with local ordinances/HOA's
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and address maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date guest and owner files and records
- Oversee property maintenance and coordinate repairs as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of rental units to ensure they meet quality standards
- Assist with rent collection and financial reporting
- Collaborate with the team to maximize occupancy rates and rental income
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in vacation rental management is required - 3 years
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants and resolve issues
- Experience using one of the major PMS softwares (Streamline, CiiRUS, Guesty, Hostaway)
- Familiarity with vacation rental management and property maintenance processes
- Proficient in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent negotiation skills for lease agreements
- Sales experience is a plus for working with new owners
