To be a Printed Circuit Board Designer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. Printed Circuit Board Designer

  • Extreme Engineering Solutions (X-ES) is seeking a PCB Designer to create optimized design layouts for printed circuit boards (PCBs) that conform to desired specifications. All levels of experience will be considered from entry-level to senior-level.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Design printed circuit board layouts and routings of components for X-ES products.
    • Work with project managers, mechanical engineers, and power supply engineers to determine requirements for PCB projects.
    • Create manufacturing support documents.
    • Output of fabrication and manufacturing data.
    • Initiate PCB final data releases.

    Required Qualifications

    • Graduation from an accredited high school (or valid General Educational Development certificate).
    • Computer proficiency with a high level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to organize and complete work with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to work efficiently and independently.
    • Ability to work onsite from our facility located at 9901 Silicon Prairie Parkway in Verona, WI.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or similar field.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment.
    • Previous experience in electronics manufacturing is a plus.
    • Experience with XPedition Layout software.
