JOB PURPOSE :

As an Administrative / Office Assistant you will provide foundational administrative support within the office and specifically for the Purchasing Department.

WHO YOU ARE :

You are very capable and enjoy performing diverse tasks and wearing many hats in an office environment.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process and input invoices into an excel spreadsheet.
• Collaborate with Accounting regarding all invoices / documents.
• File, organize documents.
• Customer service follow up with vendors, sub-contractors, clients and internal employees as needed.
• Support the reception desk and answer office phones as needed.
• Manage the travel system and assist with employee and guest travel arrangements.
• Support special projects.

This is an in-office position, Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

• Dependable. This role is an important part of the team.

• Great customer service and client follow up.
• Respectful in an office environment.
• Interest in learning and taking on new responsibilities.
• Must be able to input data into an excel spreadsheet accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with a willingness to learn other company systems / tools.

PREFERRED

• Experience relevant to the job.
• Entry level experience in accounting.
• Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment and familiarity with terminology helpful.
• Positive and professional attitude.
