Production Maintenance Manager jobs in Santa Barbara, CA

Assist with daily production operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assisting in managing and directing production workflow for all factories
• Monitor and follow-up on all production processing
• Self driven, doesn’t take no for an answer
• Go getter and outgoing personality
• Ability to get points across in a stern but professionally manner
• Handle a situation/problem efficiently
• Understand and drive the quality of product with the ultimate goal of improving and maintaining processes, reducing returns, irregularities and production expenses
• Source trims
• Assist in vendor negotiations for development and product costs, payment terms, shipping methods, MOQs, etc
• Effectively communicate with Product Development, E-Commerce, Retail, Marketing, Planning, Finance, and other cross-functional teams
• Track and Maintain production WIPs and spreadsheets
• Track timing of TOP and PP samples
• Follow up on QC issues and requesting discounts or charge backs

Minimum qualifications:

• 2 years’ experience in apparel production
• Basic understanding of garment construction/points of measure
• Must have strong ability to prioritize, organize and direct production with factories
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Organized
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to think on your feet & remain calm under pressure
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Docs, Google Sheets
• Able to manage multiple prioritize and meet deadlines
• Must have avalid CA driver’s license
• Spanish speaking is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Sit, stand, lift up to 50lbs
