Professor - Special Education teaches courses in the discipline area of special education. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Special Education provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Special Education typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Elementary School Special Education Paraprofessional
1.0 FTE
The School District of Florence County is seeking a devoted, reliable individual to
work with and support students with IEP’s in a 1:1 environment. The ideal
candidate will preferably have experience working in a school setting and/or has
a skill set in English/Language Arts
The individual must have strong organizational and time management skills, and
the ability to make positive connections with students, while effectively
communicating with a variety of professionals and students.
The position offers full benefits in health, dental, long-term disability and
Wisconsin State Retirement, along with select paid holidays. Beginning hourly
rate is $15.40 per hour.
