Program Manager coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Negotiates and prepares contracts by considering the financial conditions, resources, and contractual requirements. Being a Program Manager develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Additionally, Program Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Prepares proposals to win new programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a department head. The Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. You will oversee the progress of operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader and will have experience in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. They will be able to critically think and execute the plans needed to meet the needs of staff and the clients. The goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our client and organization.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected programs and clients
    • Decide on suitable strategies and objectives using critical thinking
    • Coordinate program and client activities and appointments
    • Lead and evaluate direct support staff
    • Control deadlines, budgets and activities
    • Maintain compliance of all direct support professional credentialling and work place requirements
    • Assume responsibility for the program’s clients and staff
    • Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI
    • Resolve programs higher scope issues, such as DDA compliance to WAC and DDA policy.
    • Prepare reports for direct report and ALL DICE leadership and RCS as required.

     

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Program Manager or other upper managerial position
    • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
    • Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (Basecamp, MS Project etc.) is a strong advantage.
    • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent problem-solving ability
    • BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
    • 12 hr shifts and working every other weekend
