  • Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project Coordinator to support our Outside Plant (OSP) Telecommunications projects. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the planning, implementation, and completion of OSP projects, including coordinating resources, tracking project progress, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and project management principles.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Project Planning and Coordination:

    • Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets for OSP telecommunications projects.
    • Coordinate project activities and resources, equipment, and materials.
    • Track project milestones and deliverables, and report progress to project managers and stakeholders.
    • Monitor project timelines and budgets and identify potential risks or issues that may impact project success.

    2. Permitting and Right-of-Way Management:

    • Coordinate the acquisition of permits and right-of-way approvals required for OSP construction projects.
    • Liaise with regulatory agencies, property owners, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals in a timely manner.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing OSP construction activities.

    3. Material Procurement and Inventory Management:

    • Assist with the procurement of materials and equipment required for OSP construction projects.
    • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites and company yards.
    • Maintain accurate records of material inventory levels and usage, and reconcile discrepancies as needed.

    4. Documentation:

    • Document project activities, including work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
    • Prepare project documentation and reports for internal stakeholders and clients.

    Qualifications:

    • 2 years of experience in project coordination or related role, preferably in the telecommunications industry. (preferred)
    • Knowledge of OSP construction practices, telecommunications infrastructure, and industry standards. (preferred)
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. (required)
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. (required)
    • Proficient in Microsoft office including word, excel, and teams. (required)

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
