This includes kitchen, bath renovations, exterior restorations, porch building & repairs, and much more. Our clients rely on us for projects to be on time and on budget. Over the past 15 years in business, we have seen tremendous growth with our skilled team of carpenters, managers, and general laborers. We are looking to add another skilled member to our team. This position is for a PROJECT MANAGER. The position offers more brain work than hands-on construction. It offers an opportunity to move up in this great field and develop business and management skills. You will be trained to estimate and manage construction projects efficiently. You will learn our system that focuses on organization, budget management, and high quality customer service. The role of a project manager is to win and manage new and existing clients. You will take them through all phases of the home renovation process. The qualifications for this job are:
- A minimum of 5 years in carpentry/construction; experience in a construction project planning and supervisory capacity preferred,
- Solid knowledge of construction and remodeling trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, plastering, painting), practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, safety and applicable building codes,
- Ability to read and understand architect and engineering plans,
- Have a valid driver's license,
- Be e-mail and smartphone proficient,
- Must be able to write contracts and communicate to clients well,
- Knowledge of construction supplies: fasteners, lumber, and other building materials,
- Have knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment,
- Must enjoy learning and be open to new methods of working,
- MUST LIKE CONSTRUCTION! This is a challenging, but rewarding job.
The pay and benefits for this job are:
- Average starting base pay is $70,000-$85,000 annually, not including bonuses or vacation time,
- Benefits include health insurance, 401k, disability insurance, life insurance, personal days and vacation days,
- Pay will vary based on experience and how much training is required.
