Psychological Services Director jobs in Albion, ME
Psychological Services Director directs and coordinates the policies, objectives, initiatives, and programs for the delivery of psychological services to patients. Oversees the treatment of patients with emotional, mental, and or psychological disorders. Being a Psychological Services Director ensures the psychological division follows regulatory compliance requirements and standard procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Psychological Services Director typically reports to top management. The Psychological Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Psychological Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. QUALIFICATIONS:
Maine Certification/licensure as a School Psychologist or as a Psychological Service Provider required.
CHRC necessary.
Prior experience working with school aged children preferred.
Excellent organizational skills required.
Ability to administer and interpret a variety of psychological evaluation instruments
Ability to write evaluation reports and assist the IEP teams with determining eligibility for special education services required.
Ability to develop and monitor behavior plans necessary.
Ability to complete Functional Behavior Assessments necessary.
Knowledge of I.D.E.A. necessary.
Demonstrated ability to work professionally with colleagues required.
