Psychological Services Director directs and coordinates the policies, objectives, initiatives, and programs for the delivery of psychological services to patients. Oversees the treatment of patients with emotional, mental, and or psychological disorders. Being a Psychological Services Director ensures the psychological division follows regulatory compliance requirements and standard procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Psychological Services Director typically reports to top management. The Psychological Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Job Purpose:
The Psychological Technician (Psychometrist) contributes to the quality and quantity of neuropsychological services in the hospital by improving access to care through efficient, accurate, and thorough test administration and data management along with compassionate and hospitable clinical interactions. |
Work Schedule: Currently, the need for this position is to work on Mondays and Fridays, from 8:00a - 5:00p. In the fall, this position can transition to full-time, Monday - Friday.

Direct clinical/patient care – Works one-on-one with toddlers, school-age children, and adolescents to administer a wide variety of psychological and neuropsychological tests in a standardized manner consistent with directions in the test manuals. |

Indirect clinical/patient care – Scores standardized psychological and neuropsychological tests and compile the results into one summary table. |

Documentation – Maintains accurate and thorough clinical records, including documentation of test administration and scoring times for billing logs, updates to the neuropsychological report template with patient information and test scores, and a detailed record of behavioral observations during test administration and patient interactions. |

Administrative tasks – Monitors test inventory and creates purchasing orders for restocking; helps maintain and updates a waitlist for neuropsychological scheduling, helps compile results of serial assessments and creates a visual representation of that data to help inform clinical decision making for inpatients in the Brain Injury Responsiveness Program. |

Qualifications:
Education: |
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, or Counseling Psychology is preferred. |
Experience: |
Preferred: Administration and scoring of standardized psychological tests Preferred: Past experience working with children or adolescents |
License/Certification/Credential: |
**Approval by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners of Psychologists as a psychological technician. |
