Purchasing Director manages procurement and purchasing operations and implements the strategy to provide the materials and services to meet organizational requirements for quality, volume, availability, and pricing. Maintains strategic supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, and implements systems for monitoring performance, assessing risk, and responding to changes in demand or disruptions in the supply chain. The BG Purchasing Director is responsible for coordinating purchasing for the Aerospace North America BG. It ensures common local purchases (LMC) between the BG sites, and organizes standardization and economic and technical optimization within the framework of the purchasing policies defined by the Group Lead Buyers (CMC).
