Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products, overseeing quality control processes, and implementing quality improvement initiatives. The Quality Control Supervisor will be expected to work closely with production teams, quality control technicians, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
JOB SUMMARY
Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for leading the quality control team, ensuring
quality standards and customer specifications are met, monitoring production,
coordinating and assigning tasks to the quality staff, ensuring adequate Food Safety
and Quality training is in place and ensuring all company policies and procedures are
followed.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
1. Ability to work as a team player.
2. Ability to perform basic math functions.
3. Experience in a food processing plant in a leadership role
4. Working knowledge of GMPs, Food Safety and HACCP Systems.
5. Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
6. Read, write and general comprehension of English and Spanish.
7. Accurately complete documents and paperwork that is related to the job.
8. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
9. Ability to train and teach staff on GMP’s.
10. SQF Practitioner preferred or BRC Trained.
11. Must have a valid CA driver license without restrictions.

Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with quality control processes, including quality assurance and quality control testing.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and HACCP.
- Experience with vision inspection systems and other quality control tools.
- Familiarity with calypso and coordinate measuring machines.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends and patterns.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
