Senior Director, Supply Chain Finance

  • Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Sr Director, Supply Chain Finance to join our team. Reporting to the VP, Supply Chain Finance, The Sr. Director, Supply Chain Finance will lead all financial activities for key supply chain functions with a focus on the Utz Manufacturing network. This position will serve as a thought leader who provides recommendations necessary to make critical business decisions. The role partner with all levels of the organization to drive cost savings and maximize efficiencies across the supply chain. This position is responsible for coaching and developing members of the Supply Chain Finance team in order to create a high-performing team with best in class analytical skills.

    Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Supply Chain and a minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in supply chain finance in a manufacturing environment- preferably food and beverage. Candidates must have proved knowledge of accounting standards and understanding of standard cost environments. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential. The ability to develop and interpret complex analytical and forecasting models is critical, as is the ability to summarize information in a clear, concise manner to present to executive team members.

    Sr Director, Supply Chain Finance:

    • Partner with cross-functional leaders of Manufacturing and other key Supply Chain functions to develop effective dashboards to measure results and provide key insights on business performance.
    • Support preparation of detailed annual plan as well as monthly and quarterly forecasts with a focus on improving forecast accuracy across the Supply Chain.
    • Partner with Supply Chain Leadership Team to assess productivity opportunities to deliver cost savings to the organization.
    • Support the development and preparation of Supply Chain presentations for the Utz Executive Operating Team and Board of Directors.
    • Collaborate with other members of Supply Chain Finance Leadership to assess and analyze network opportunities to maximize cost savings and customer satisfaction across Manufacturing and Logistics.
    • Lead all financial activities to support extensive network of co-manufacturer partners. Drive cost savings initiatives and standardization of the company's outsourcing strategy.
    • Create a workplace that fosters teamwork and strengthens communication within and outside the department. Play critical role in harmonization and standardization aimed at reducing complexity, improving accuracy, and reducing cost.
    • Perform other duties as assigned that will impact and support the overall outcome of the company and department objectives.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Supply Chain required. MBA preferred.
    • 10 years of progressive, financial/business experience in Supply Chain finance in a Manufacturing environment. Management experience required.
    • Proven knowledge of financial accounting standards and Supply Chain principles/processes including a working understanding of standard costing environments.
    • Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner with all levels in the organization to drive change and continuous improvement.
    • Possess the ability to develop and interpret complex analytical and forecasting models.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications and ability to quickly learn multiple ERP and BI systems.
    • Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to develop a high-performing team.
    • Results oriented with a strong work ethic and understanding of importance of deadlines.
    • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to present ideas and influence others.
    • Ability to summarize information in clear, concise manner and present to executive team.
