    Description

    Position Summary

    Position is responsible for leading the Quality & Continuous improvement strategy for ab manufacturing, establishing consistent continuous improvement in Quality, On Time Delivery and Productivity. This leader will be responsible for strategy around improving safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale across the network, and will be a key strategic member of the deco operations team.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop, implement & govern the ab quality &continuous improvement program, to include training & development of team members, lean manufacturing, industry 4.0 and six sigma approach where necessary
    • Lead value-stream-mapping activities across locations to determine roadmap
    • Lead creation & governance of deco operations policy deployment & master plans across each location & department
    • Leads Engineering & Quality teams to support six decoration locations (CT, KS, PA, SC, CA, CAN)
    • Refines capex evaluation & procurement process to secure equipment and ensures management of change with proper installation
    • Develops and implements standards to ensure consistency and stability across network
    • Determine standard KMI’s, KPI’s and KAI’s across all locations
    • Develops & Leads 5S & Visual factory programs
    • Creates and implements long-range strategic plan for continuous improvement
    • Audits each location to ensure compliance & progress with alphabroder standards
    • Conceptualizes new equipment, fixtures, and tooling for more effective operation
    • Leads MPH & Line architecture activities to ensure lean operations
    • Assess and develop talent to ensure stable ops and succession planning
    • Trains & performs root cause analysis for any customer or other performance issues
    • Develops Quality program & drives continuous improvement through data-driven decision making
    • Performs other related duties as required

    Qualifications


    Qualifications

    • Strong, experienced and visible leader capable of multi-site leadership
    • Minimum of 5 years leadership experience over large or multi-site operations
    • Demonstrated hands-on leadership & implementation of continuous improvement
    • Strong oral, written, and technical communication skills
    • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, and implement change as a transformational leader
    • Organization and presentation skills; experienced presenting at the executive level
    • Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Programs
    • Must have a High-level problem-solving aptitude, with skill in lean management
    • Ability to travel up to 35% of the time
    • Detailed knowledge of ERP, MES, Industry 4.0 technology, inventory control, Value Stream Mapping
    • Large project/program management experience is a plus
    • Self-starter with extreme desire to serve customers, team members, and drive profitable operations
