Radiation Therapy Technologist (ARRT) jobs in Towson, MD

Veterinary Radiation Oncology of the Chesapeake (VROC) is a state-of-the-art cancer treatment center located within Chesapeake Veterinary Referral Center (CVRC). Our small but mighty team is looking for it's newest addition.

Job Duties:

• Perform anesthesia services for all clinical patients (general anesthesia and ventilator experience required)

• This position also involves record keeping

• Accurate computer data entry

• Perform equipment maintenance

• Provide compassionate care for all VROC patients

• Maintain accurate drug logs

• Keep appropriate supply of medications and medical supplies in stock

• General hospital cleaning duties as assigned

• Maintain up to date knowledge of federal and state standards of care

Job Specifications

• Monday- Thursday 8:00 am- 4:00 pm (may change based on caseload)

• This position does not include nights, weekends or on-call.

Job Requirements:

• Anesthesia experience (required)
• Efficient IV catheter placement (required)
• Specialty veterinary work experience (preferred)

• Ability to work well with other members of the medical team

• Enthusiastic about veterinary medicine

• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and composure in stressful situation

• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to cross train in other areas of the hospital

• Willingness to teach

• Possess the ability to independently with little to no direction

• Frequently lift and move at least 50 lbs
