About the Merchandising team

The merchandising team is responsible for proactively assessing and managing all product selection, pricing, advertising, promotion and merchandising for the Company.

About the Rebuyer Position

This position is responsible for coordinating the purchase and delivery of recurrent merchandise to the distribution center.

Regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Essential Job Functions

• Use a computer rebuying system to determine appropriate stock levels for basic distribution center merchandise and place orders to vendors on a weekly basis.
• Submit Purchase Orders to vendors and verify their receipt.
• Determine needed quantities of basic and advertised merchandise.
• Monitor past due orders and coordinate with vendors to ensure immediate delivery.
• Coordinate with distribution center management and vendors to resolve problems with specific orders.
• Experience in Merchandising
• Bi-Mart Power system
• Strong writing skills
• Managing & maintaining vendor purchase orders.

Social Skill Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Must have the ability to effectively send and receive communication, both verbal and written, using the English language

Aptitude Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong problem solving and organization skills
• Perform basic math and accounting functions.
• Ability to validate information.
• Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
• Detail-oriented
• Basic knowledge of and ability to operate office equipment
• Must have the ability to analyze, reason, and make decisions.
• Must be able to learn and retain new skills.
