Supervises facility operation at Maides Park by opening and closing facilities, managing facility operations on weekends, assisting with maintenance of grounds and facility, monitoring for security issues, reporting necessary repairs, coordinating facility use, and recommending facility programming. When necessary, assist with managing other recreational facilities.
Supervise and manage volunteers by assigning work tasks and when necessary, conduct meetings.
Implement recreation programs and activities by delivering developmentally appropriate activities, submitting program proposals, soliciting sponsorships and donations, setting up program, breaking down program, leading activities, coordinating volunteers, teaching classes, leading excursions and day trips.
Perform administrative duties by creating registration forms, creating flyers, recommending rules and regulations, scheduling activities, contracting services, answering phones, greeting patrons, handling program or reservation funds, maintaining attendance log, making copies, marketing events distributing marketing materials, evaluating events and programs, managing risks, assisting with budget maintenance, ordering supplies, creating supply lists for programs, and maintaining communication with internal and external agencies.
