Davis Stuart operates as a private, non-profit organization providing services for adolescents, recovering from abuse, neglect and/or behavioral issues, with capacity to serve 68 teens through four treatment locations.
By providing therapeutic residential care, we strive to meet the needs of residents, ages 12 to 18, in a supervised setting. Our goal is to reunify the young person with his or her family, when possible, or give them the life skills to enter into independence.
Summary
The Recreation Coordinator designs and implements a broad program of recreational activity for the campus residents, which includes large and small muscle activities, individual and group activities, games, and sports activities and experiences, ones which focus on the development of game and sports skills, attitudes of cooperation, personal self-confidence, motivation for involvement, and a willingness to try new things.
