Description

Implements and coordinates therapeutic activity programming for adult and geriatric age inpatient population. Evaluates and establishes individualized treatment plans, collaborates with an interdisciplinary team and documents progress towards treatment goals. Contributes towards a safe therapeutic atmosphere.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree - BS/BA degree in Recreation, Occupational, Art, Music and/or Movement therapy.
• National Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist - National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 months of Acute rehabilitation Experience and/or psychiatric experience.
