    Reporting directly to the President, the Human Resources Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring the well-being and effectiveness of our organization's most valuable asset, its people. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with our company's goals and values, while also promoting a culture of diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies that support the company's overall objectives. Analyze workforce trends and anticipate future staffing needs.
    • Talent Acquisition and Recruitment: Oversee the recruitment process from job posting to onboarding. Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent. Conduct interviews and make hiring recommendations based on candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
    • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to both employees and managers on HR-related issues. Resolve conflicts, conduct investigations, and provide guidance on disciplinary actions when necessary. Promote a positive work environment and address employee concerns in a timely and empathetic manner.
    • Performance Management: Implement performance management systems to set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and evaluate employee performance. Develop training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
    • Compensation and Benefits: Manage the company's compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive benefits and cost of benefits, as well as compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Analyze market trends and budgeting constraints and recommend adjustments to salary structures, incentive plans, and employee benefits packages.
    • HR Compliance: Stay up to date on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, including but not limited to EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA. Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
    • Employee Engagement and Retention: Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Organize company events, and wellness programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
    • Employee Safety: Ensure that the company is following all relevant safety regulations and standards. Develop a company safety program, including emergency safety procedures, and oversee and provide training for all employees as necessary. Manage and investigate workplace accidents or incidents and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of employee safety training, incidents, and compliance efforts.
    • HR Administration: Oversee HR administrative functions. Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of HR data and records. Provide standardized on-boarding interviews and exit interviews to gain insight into employee recruiting and employee retention strategies.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor or Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 5 years of progressive experience in human resources management.
    • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
