Regional Medical Director establishes and implements health care policies and standards, evaluates new treatments, and conducts medical research to ensure the quality of the medical care provided to patients for a specified region. Writes research publications to support clinical service offerings. Being a Regional Medical Director is responsible for strategic clinical relationships with physicians in the region. Oversees the development of the clinical content in marketing materials. Additionally, Regional Medical Director ensures all regional clinical programs are in compliance with laws and regulations. Requires a MD degree. Typically reports to top management. The Regional Medical Director manages a departmental function within a broader corporate function. Develops major goals to support broad functional objectives. Approves policies developed within various sub-functions and departments. Comprehensive knowledge of the overall departmental function.     About the role

As a MyEyeDr. Regional Director you will be responsible to coordinate and facilitate MyEyeDr. operations in accordance to company standards and directives. You will also maintain a high level of open communication with Associates, General Managers, Corporate Management team and departments. As a Regional Director you will be responsible to manage special projects as assigned. Some evening and weekend shifts required. 

    You Will

    • Implement and enhance process improvement initiatives that provided greater consistency and standardizations across all offices 
    • Validate and follow-up on day-to-day operational processes such as standard operating procedures, reporting, and patient services  
    • Coach, train and develop the office managers in partnership with the District and Regional Sales Managers  
    • Train and evaluate office managers as a continuous process utilizing monthly and quarterly audits. 
    • Provide continuous support of excellence in patient service and satisfaction 
    • Develop and implement new processes in partnership with the Director of Business Operations
    • Positively impact location P&L performance by ensuring processes and procedures are being implemented successfully in the offices
    • Hold and conduct meetings in the forms of on-site visits, conference calls and web conferences
    • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager

    About You

    • 2 – 4-year business degree or equivalent business experience 
    • 5 years of management experience 
    • Ability to Train associates per MyEyeDr. standards 
    • Broad knowledge of P&L/multiple location management 
    • Effective communicator, detail oriented and have the ability to analyze and think strategically 
    • Ability to travel as needed to various regional offices
