Develops procedures to ensure regulatory compliance. Being a Regulatory Relations Liaison prepares reports for top management detailing projects that may impact the organization's regulation status. May represent the organization before federal or state legislations. Additionally, Regulatory Relations Liaison requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Regulatory Relations Liaison typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Assist the Marketing and Sales Department coordinating information, executing strategies and achieving objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists customers that attend sales presentations. Attends tours that are considered not qualified in a professional manor. Finds ways to save a tour If the tour cannot be saved, the Resort Liaison investigates where OPC’s broker’s or Reservations department failed. Insures OPC’s / Brokers are not paid for non qualified tours. Return deposits for non qualified tours. Research and tracks tour flow areas by developing charts, survey reports complaint forms and tracking sheets. Deals with difficult situations in a professional manner. Assists customers that attend the sales presentation. Make sure that the customers stay and complete the tour. Verify daily manifest report and complete paperwork. Follow instructions assigned by the Assistant Director of Marketing and/or Marketing Manager. Report all problems immediately to the Assistant Director of Marketing and/or Marketing Manager. Other duties may be assigned.

Must have word processing and spreadsheet knowledge, have excellent communication skills.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have word processing and spreadsheet knowledge.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. Bilingual preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
