May assist in identifying fraudulent non-plan billing practices and assists the legal department with litigation preparation. Additionally, Reimbursement Specialist - Healthcare may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Expected pay for this position is $45.70 - $53.77/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Strategic Reimbursement Consultant ensures compliance with reimbursement requirements, including annual cost reports for government payors. This role is responsible for regulatory reimbursement reporting and management of Medicare and Medicaid audits and appeals. The Strategic Reimbursement Consultant provides reimbursement expertise for Medicare, Medicaid and other payor contracts for OSF Healthcare. This position is responsible for leading projects to improve reimbursement and will perform analysis on reimbursement for various strategic initiatives and legislative impact analysis.
