Reinsurance Specialist performs routine reinsurance administrative duties, such as maintaining records, processing and verifying new business. Organizes the preparation of monthly and annual reports and ensures reinsurance information has been recorded accurately. Being a Reinsurance Specialist performs reconciliation of premium billing statements and DAC tax calculations and maintenance of various reinsurance operations. Researches and resolves the more complex cases and provides guidance to others. Additionally, Reinsurance Specialist may review work performed by others and train new staff. Works towards industry designations (e.g., FLMI, ARA, ACS, etc.). Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Reinsurance Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. The Property Preservation Specialist will act as the primary point of contact for our client(s) for all servicing functions related to preservation and protection of our Client(s) mortgage assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, task oriented and understand various investor and state regulations; ability to research issues; analysis capability on critical issues.
