This position is on-site in Hartford, Connecticut and a qualified candidate must go to the office 2-3 days a week.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead Environment management planning meetings working with different applications.
• SOX documentation and Audit support.
• Communicate the project-related tasks such as plans, timelines, requirements, etc. between different teams.
• Identify the risks that can delay the release and lead them, such that the scope scheduled, and quality of the release are not affected.
• Supervise the progress and find issues, if any. Always work to improve the process of release.
• Plan and give weekly updates on the release activities.
• Communicate with release managers from different IT departments.
• Be responsible for the launch activities to deploy the software effectively.
• Schedule meetings to discuss the release schedules with the team and find roadblocks, if any.
• Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notifications lists, and dependencies.
• Able to identify process improvement and implement the changes for effective release.
• Generate different metrics for QA unlock, production fallout, and others.
• Schedule an RCA meeting for the production fallouts.

Position Qualifications:

• At least 5 to 8 years of work experience.

Salary and Other Compensation:

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
