Role: Release Manager
Location : Pittsburgh , PA ( Day one onsite )

Job Description
- Planning and scheduling software releases, taking into account project timelines, dependencies, and resource availability.
- Supporting continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) initiatives and automation efforts to streamline the release process.
- Collaborating with development, QA, operations, and other stakeholders to understand release requirements and priorities.
- Creating and maintaining release plans, including release scope, milestones, and deliverables.
- Facilitating release planning meetings and providing regular updates to stakeholders on release status and progress.
- Identifying and managing risks and issues related to releases and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Coordinating release activities across multiple teams and ensuring that all necessary tasks are completed on schedule.
- Establishing and maintaining release processes, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conducting post-release reviews and gathering feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate deployment activities, including pre-deployment checks, scheduling, and rollback procedures.
- Maintain release documentation, including release notes, deployment guides, and configuration records.
- Identify opportunities to improve the release management process, tools, and workflows.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the release management team and across the organization.
- Should have good experience in DevOps, Jenkins, Docker and OCP.
- Should have good exposure to CI/CD concepts.
- Should have release management experience.
