Replenishment Buyer

With a hybrid work schedule, open office layout, workout room, awesome coffee espresso machines, and themed events like popcorn days and monthly happy hours, our office has a good balance of work and play.Essential Duties- Monitor and analyze sales trends, demand forecasts, and inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Develop and implement replenishment strategies to optimize inventory turnover and minimize stockouts.
- Proactively identify and address potential inventory issues, such as excess or obsolete stock.
- Adjust inventory levels and replenishment schedules accordingly to capitalize on sales opportunities and minimize excess inventory.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support changes in production planning and inventory optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize production and delivery schedules from multiple vendors.
- Work internally and externally to design performance improvement plans with vendors to enhance the reliability and efficiency of the supply chain.
- Issue purchase orders based on replenishment plans and inventory needs.
- Monitor purchase orders from creation through delivery to ensure on-time and accurate fulfillment.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on inventory planning and replenishment strategies.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3 to 5 years experience in inventory management, purchasing, replenishment planning, or supply chain operations.
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and Excel
- Strong understanding of logistical concepts and supply chain processes
- Proven experience of staying organized in a fast-paced working environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Experience in the food industry preferred but not required.
