Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) oversees all activities of a residence hall. Responsible for student housing assignment, maintenance of facilities, and safety of residents. Being a Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) ensures students follow college/university conduct policies and takes appropriate disciplinary actions when rules are broken. Incumbent is not given room and board at the residence hall as part of the employment arrangement. Additionally, Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) oversees maintenance and renovation, purchase and inventory of supplies, assignment of semester rooms and summer housing, housekeeping functions, and management of student conduct and discipline. Room and board in the residence hall is not included in the terms of employment. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. The Program Manager, Sam Jones Hall oversees the operations of Sam Jones Hall. The Program Manager, Sam Jones Hall provides leadership for the operation of 24-hour facilities embracing Housing First principles and practices to administer housing-focused shelter services for all residents. The Program Manager, Sam Jones Hall manages all shelter operational functions for Sam Jones Hall including the supervision of shelter staff in daily activities and provision of services for participants through the use of agency programs and services and the services of partner agencies.
The Program Manager, Sam Jones Hall, is responsible for staff schedules, facilitation of staff meetings, and professional and skill development for staff members. The Program Manager, Sam Jones Hall holds direct oversight of the intakes into Sam Jones Hall and will ensure the program is in compliance with the agency policy and procedure.
The Program Manager, Sam Jones Hall manages the operational budget and interactions with partner agencies and the neighborhood community. The Program Manager, Sam Jones Hall is responsible for maintenance of all operational and client documentation, including case records. The Program Manager, Sam Jones Hall ensures compliance with policy and procedures, implements best practices, and supports the Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) for program improvement.
