    ROLE SUMMARY:

    We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Research Associate to join the Assay Development team at Quanterix. This role will provide technical and operational support for development, technology transfer, and sustaining of our ultrasensitive immunoassay product line. The ideal candidate is organized and detail-oriented, capable of operating independently, experienced with bead- and plate-based immunoassays, a team player and motivated to help drive complex projects to completion.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    • Work independently and with team members to perform routine and specialized laboratory procedures and operate a wide range of instruments.
    • Apply your laboratory skills and experience to generate high quality data in support of a diversity of projects, which will include both immunoassay development and validation as well as testing and analysis of clinical samples using commercial kits.
    • Collaborate with scientists to design and execute development, troubleshooting and process optimization experiments.
    • Support product optimization and new product development in line with business objectives.
    • Track and summarize experimental data to support data-driven decision-making for assay development and process optimization.
    • Support and help drive implementation of best practices and process improvements.
    • Ensure all work meets company compliance standards.
    • Document all activities in accordance good documentation practices.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • MS or BS in Life Sciences
    • with 2 years relevant experience
    • Experience with preparation and handling of complex and sensitive bio-reagents.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Application of good laboratory and good manufacturing practices.
    • Ability to support multiple projects under aggressive timelines.
    • Experience with pre-analytical sample processing and performing immunoassays on human biospecimens including CSF, serum, and plasma
    • Experience with development and/or validation of assay products
    • Detail oriented, excellent organizational and record keeping skills.
    • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
