Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children in a safe and stimulating environment
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities and progress
- Ensure the health and safety of all children in your care
- Manage behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
Requirements:
- Previous experience in babysitting, toddler care, infant care, daycare, or related field
- Knowledge of childhood development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to manage behavior and use effective behavior management strategies
- First aid and CPR certification preferred
- Strong caregiving skills and ability to provide emotional support to children
- Patience, flexibility, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with both children and parents
Note: Special education or preschool experience is a plus but not required.
