Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as In Home Caregivers. As an In Home Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Duties: - Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Assist with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper lifting and transfer techniques - Administer medications according to prescribed schedules - Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals - Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed - Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry - Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients - Maintain accurate documentation of care provided Qualifications: - Previous experience in hospice care, patient care, or a related field is preferred - Knowledge of resident rights and nursing home care practices - Familiarity with first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies calmly and effectively - Ability to lift and assist with transfers of clients as required - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature We offer competitive compensation and flexible scheduling options for our In Home Caregivers.
