Residential Living Assistant jobs in Norfolk, VA
Residential Living Assistant provides individualized care to the patients of a group home or residential living facility. Assists the patients on daily basis with personal care and hygiene. Being a Residential Living Assistant transports patients within the facility or on supervised outings. Administers and records medications given to residents. Additionally, Residential Living Assistant may administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Residential Living Assistant possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Position summary
As a dietary aide you will be part of the Dietary team. You are responsible for ensuring our residents have meals that have been prepared based on special diets and needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Transport hot and cold foods to residents
- Wash and store kitchen equipment
- Maintain kitchen equipment and work area in a safe and sanitary condition
- Bus tables
