Job Summary:

Greenland Resource is an e-waste recycling company with a mission to reduce, reuse, and recycle electronics that would’ve ended up in landfill. We are urgently seeking a warehouse lead who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and has experience in leadership. As a warehouse lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse facilities. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Sort, label, wrap, pack all materials according to the instructions from the warehouse manager
• Be able to understand instructions from warehouse manager and relay instructions to warehouse associates accurately and precisely
• Take attendance and make note of absences
• Provide leadership and supervision to the warehouse team
• Organize warehouse space
• Ensure that all tasks are completed by or before the deadline
• Have a general idea of where the materials are located in the warehouse
• Notify the warehouse manager when supplies (ex. Tapes, gloves, and films) are low in stock

Qualifications:

• One year warehouse experience (Required)
• Prior experience working in a warehouse of an electronics company is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Familiar with the ERP software
• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment
• Must be able to communicate efficiently, both verbal and written
• Able to lift up to 30lbs
• Must be physically mobile and be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Forklift license (preferred)

Working Conditions:

The warehouse lead will primarily be working in the warehouse. Therefore, you will be exposed to fluctuations in temperature and moderate noise levels. To reduce the chance of injuries, we will be providing you with gloves and safety glasses.
