Restaurant Manager is responsible for overall operations of the restaurant, which may include overseeing the staff, monitoring inventory, purchasing equipment and supplies, and ensuring quality customer service and compliance with all food and beverage regulations. Trains, hires, and schedules other employees. Being a Restaurant Manager requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a top management. The Restaurant Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards.

- Train and supervise restaurant staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about menu items, service standards, and safety procedures.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the restaurant.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills:
- Strong kitchen management skills, including knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices.
- Proven ability to effectively manage a team of restaurant staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience for guests.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to effectively handle various challenges that may arise in a restaurant setting.
