Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Accountant, Revenue & Reconciliations, to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, as well as experience with revenue recognition and reporting under ASC 606. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the revenue accounting function, including month-end close, analysis of revenue trends, and preparation of financial statements schedules. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing new revenue accounting procedures, as well as providing support to the global finance teams.

Responsibilities

· Oversee the revenue accounting function, including month-end close, analysis of revenue trends, and preparation of financial statements schedules

· Develop and implement new revenue accounting procedures

· Provide support to the sales and marketing teams

· Review and analyze revenue data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

· Prepare and present revenue reports to management

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date revenue records

· Adhere to all accounting policies and procedures

· Stay up-to-date on changes to accounting regulations

· Collaborate with other accounting departments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements

· Represent the company in audits and other regulatory reviews

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and be an active CPA

· 5 years of experience in revenue accounting

· Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures

· Experience with revenue recognition and reporting under ASC 606

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

· Experience with technical accounting position memos
