Revenue Cycle Director directs and oversees the overall policies, objectives, and initiatives of an organization's revenue cycle activities to optimize the patient financial interaction along the care continuum. Reviews, designs, and implements processes surrounding admissions, pricing, billing, third party payer relationships, compliance, collections, and other financial analyses to ensure that clinical revenue cycle is effective and properly utilized. Being a Revenue Cycle Director tracks numerous metrics related to the patient engagement cycle including record coding error rates and billing turnaround times to develop sound revenue cycle analysis and reporting. Overview
We are looking for a Revenue Cycle Corporate Trainer to join our team. This position will directly report to the VP of Revenue Cycle and is responsible for ensuring revenue cycle teams and leaders are effectively trained on processes, systems and clinical knowledge in alignment with the company, department, legal, and compliance requirements.This role will lead training activities including design, development and execution of training programs, new hire orientation, development programs for desired competencies, new processes, and application launches, and assisting in the development of initiatives for team meetings. This role also collaborates with other HR and corporate departments to develop training programs.
About You
High School/GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum 3 years’ experience in training or equivalent field
Capacity to assess and translate organization/internal customer needs into learning objectives and devise effective training solutions.
Able to develop and execute the department training strategy using a variety of tactics including live and virtual facilitation, plus training the trainers and aiding peer-based teaching.
Manage the development and execution of foundational training including revenue, clinical, and skills training curriculum.
Strong experience in applications and processes training. Experience in revenue, finance and/or in the healthcare/hospice industry is a plus.
Experience and knowledge of compliance rules and regulations governing healthcare related training programs.
Knowledge of billing and collections of health insurance claims and compliance, with excellent problem-solving skills in relation to resolution.
Working knowledge of medical terminology, rules, and regulations relating totherevenue cycle.
Understanding of managed care contracts and credentialing compliance
Demonstrated expertise in influencing teams comprised of all levels to meet the needs of the business.
Strong presentation, oral and written communication skills.
Able to multi-task and work independently.
