Safety/Loss Prevention Manager - Construction is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing the safety and loss prevention program for a company's construction department. Ensures that each project site conforms to all applicable safety regulations. Being a Safety/Loss Prevention Manager - Construction is responsible for assigning safety inspectors to sites and ensuring that follow-ups are conducted when necessary. Provides solutions when sites are found to be in violation of safety standards. Additionally, Safety/Loss Prevention Manager - Construction requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Safety/Loss Prevention Manager - Construction manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Safety/Loss Prevention Manager - Construction typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Logistics Manager will manage the production of logistics plans for work acquisition and preconstruction efforts across all regions. The role will be both technical and functional in nature.

    Responsibilities
      Manage the production of logistical drawings
    • Planning and sequencing of construction operations according to project schedule.
    • Work closely in collaboration with business development, work acquisition, and operations to cater assets to specific areas of value
    • Continual improvement of asset creation and presentation techniques.
    Qualifications

    • Strong understanding of building systems and construction methods
    • Expert with AutoCAD
    • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit
    • Working knowledge of Sketch Up
    • Strong graphic and formatting skills
    • Ability to read and comprehend construction documents including but not limited to drawings, specifications, RFP's and RFQ's.
    • Minimum of two years AEC experience
    • College degree strongly preferred
    Working Conditions

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stands; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. Job site walking.
