Sales Administration Director develops and directs the sales data analysis function to deliver reporting and tools to sales teams and management that ensure effective sales execution and the achievement of growth objectives. Deploys CRM and other systems to manage customer and activity data. Being a Sales Administration Director develops monitoring and methodologies to analyze sales metrics and to provide insights, support decisions, and highlight areas for process improvement. Directs research efforts to understand market conditions and competitors. Additionally, Sales Administration Director may enable training activities that will ensure sales teams understand and effectively utilize systems and reporting resources. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Sales Administration Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Sales Administration Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.   • Purpose of this Position: The Manager, Sales Administration will function as an executive assistant to the Vice President of Sales and support the Sales Team within McLeod Software.  The Manager, Sales Administration will provide exceptional support and service to clerical and administrative duties through all mediums, including correspondence, reports, presentations, newsletters, meetings, company activities, etc.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

    • General administrative duties include (but not limited to) construct office correspondences, receive inbound calls, handle and organize hard and soft files
    • Update sales reports on a daily/monthly/quarterly/annual basis
    • Distribute and mail marketing materials to sales representatives
    • Assist with planning of the bi-annual sales meetings, confirming hotel reservations for tradeshows
    • Maintain sales calendar daily
    • Work closely with National Sales Managers (provide reports, assistance with outgoing correspondence, expense reports)
    • Assist with creation and administration of sales compensation plans, contests and annual Sales Presidents’ Club

     

    Competencies:

    • Minimum of two years of experience working in an administrative role
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office skills: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are required
    • Excellent communication skills and command of the English language
    • Strong understanding/knowledge of NetSuite and Concur is strongly preferred
    • Ability to maintain confidential information, and build relationships with internal and external customers
    • Continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, create detailed and accurate reports, establish priorities among tasks and meet crucial deadlines
    • Exceptional business-math skills – averages, percentages, etc.

    Education/Experience:

    High School Diploma: or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    Language Ability:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret trade publications, technical documentation, reports, and other documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, peers, or members of the business community. Ability to write communications and documentations grammatically correct for routine business correspondence.

     

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions with abstract and concrete variables.

     

    Computer Skills:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; NetSuite CRM/database program and Concur experience preferred but not required.
