The Business Intelligence Analyst at ASG is responsible for managing data retrieval and analysis within Operations. Duties include, but aren’t limited to, organizing data points, communicating between upper management, finance, and IT departments, and analyzing data to determine the organization’s needs.  Also, transform data into insight that can help to improve the value of the business.

What you’ll do: (Including, but not limited to):  

• Partner with stakeholders, process specialists, and users to elicit and document business requirements 
• Translate non-technical requirements into technical business requirements  
• Partner with business departmental teams to define and document business requirements for new metrics and reports 
• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis 
• Design, develop, and maintain reports and analytical tools for the organization 
• Use current knowledge of business and technology to recommend systems and process improvements 
• Perform ongoing monitoring and refinement of reports and analytic solutions while maintaining data integrity and accuracy 
• Partner with architecture and solution delivery teams to enable reports that have long-term value 
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile and identify gaps, uncover unmet business needs, and work with IT to create a finished solution 
• Extract, transform and load (ETL) data from multiple sources to create unified datasets for analysis 
• Design and develop data models and dashboards to visualize key metrics and trends 
• Performs other duties as assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the responsibilities of this job classification. 

What you’ll need:  

General 

• Bachelor's in computer science, related field, or equivalent experience required 
• Requires excellent communication and customer service skills 
• Highly organized and detail-oriented 
• Self-motivated and able to work independently  
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite 

Desired 

• Proficiency in SQL, database management, and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) 
• 1 years of experience in business analytics or business intelligence and experience working on data warehouse deployments 
• Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures 
• Demonstrated experience in writing software requirements and test specifications 

Working Conditions:
