Job Summary:

As a Field Trainer, you will ride with sales representatives to provide coaching, motivation and reinforcement of our processes and best practices both in selling situations and service situations.

Essential Functions:

• Ride with most new sales representatives each year to evaluate them in the field in both sales and service scenarios.
• Provide follow-up training to ensure that representatives are effectively using our sales processes to maximize our new business pipeline.
• Provide follow-up training to ensure that representatives are effectively using our service processes to maximize our efficiency and productiveness.
• Provide leadership a performance overview of field visits with new sales representatives.
• Evaluate the knowledge and utilization of sales and service concepts and skills in the field.
• Provide ongoing assistance to representatives on an as needed basis to interpret procedures and strategize sales training and service concepts.
• Responsible for mentoring all newly hired sales representatives for a one-year period.
• Assist in all parts of all in-office sales training classes.
• Assist in specific parts of all in-office new hire training.
• Assist in the evaluation and rating of sales representatives overall performance in training.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of organizational tools for representatives to use in the field.
• Assist in the execution of sales and service training sessions at sales meetings.
• Assist with sales intern mentoring (as needed) 
• Video, coach, and critique role play of sales and service scenarios.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read, interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong customer service skills.
• Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability and willingness to travel 50-70% of the year for overnight sales trainings (peak travel season between August - December and February - April)
• Bachelors degree in a related field and a minimum of two years experience in sales or a related function OR
• Associate degree in a related field and four years experience in sales or a related function.
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to pass a standard, pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows based databases.
