Position Overview
The Board of Trustees Secretary will provide confident and consistent support to the Board of Trustees. Extracts key information from meetings and takes detailed minutes. The role encompasses a wide variety of administrative and executive duties and special projects leveraging a broad range of skills with a high degree of initiative in managing a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, while serving as a trusted partner with high integrity.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities
An Associate’s Degree but Bachelor’s Degree is preferred with an emphasis in English, Communications, Public Relations, Community Education, or Business Administration. At least five (5) years of secretarial experience preferably in a school Board/Superintendent environment. Strong technological experience. Strong knowledge with virtual platforms, i.e. Zoom and Google Meets. Extensive knowledge and ability in the areas of public relations, writing, communications, office management, organization, and business machines. Technical and organizational skills. Works with discretion and confidentiality.
