Wedbush Securities is one of the largest full-service investment banking and brokerage firms in the nation. Our Facilities and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is looking to add an Analyst to our team. This role is responsible for having the discernment to determine the best recovery options available within a defined window of time while facing disasters that may be at extreme levels. Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure, as this role may encounter difficult situations related to the personal safety and well-being of our colleagues during high-stakes situations that affect BCP.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with management of enterprise-wide Business Continuity Management program
• Respond to emergencies 24/7, organize emergency call out notifications, and participate in calls with BCP coordinators and business leads to manage BCP events
• Coordinate risk assessment with BCP coordinators with the purpose of ensuring that the firm can effectively respond in the event of a disaster
• Test the design of BCP solutions, which requires a strong understanding of industry resiliency practices and procedures
• Assist with the review and analysis of business impacts for each financial group, tracking status and risks
• Partner with businesses and technology teams throughout company with developing, implementing & testing BCP solutions with end-users
• Develop management reporting on resiliency metrics
• Plan, manage and assist in the execution of facilities build-outs and renovations
• Meet with contractors/vendors as needed to plan for IT buildout of facilities
• Troubleshoot any situation that arises from construction or day-to-day activities related to IT
• Perform other duties as required and assigned

Required Experience:

• 
  Bachelors degree from an accredited university
• Working knowledge of the securities industry required, preferably with an understanding of Wedbush business practices and daily operating model
• Ability to be on call 24/7, 365 days of the year
• Ability to lead, plan and support exercises and meetings with stakeholders as well as conduct risk assessments
• Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize many concurrent tasks
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively at all levels
• Experience leading crisis response and business continuation methodologies to businesses
• Strong analytical abilities and critical thinking to ensure solutions, response and recovery strategies are effective and efficient
• Understand and assess IT requirements surrounding real estate build-outs
• Ability to understand and assist in developing spreadsheets relating to allocations
