SECURITY SUPERVISOR supervises a team of security guards that ensure the physical safety of all visitors, employees, or customers to the organization's facilities and the security of property and assets. Schedules security guard staff shifts. Being a SECURITY SUPERVISOR assigns guards to patrol and inspect of buildings and grounds. Ensures protection from intruders, fire hazards, theft, and vandalism. Additionally, SECURITY SUPERVISOR monitors security systems and responds to alarms, reports of issues, or requests for assistance. Ensures that all security events are logged, documented, and reported using standard procedures. Trains staff on policies and procedures for crisis response, disaster recovery, evacuation, workplace violence, and other emergency events. Updates team on local, state, provincial, or federal security-related information, directives, and events. Assists with investigations and critical event responses in coordination with law enforcement and other officials. Understands law enforcement methods, tactics, and procedures. Requires a high school diploma. Requires Basic Life Support (BLS). Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. As a Shift Supervisor, you will provide lead direction at assigned client site(s) on assigned shift(s). Our Security Officers work closely with our clients and client staff. The right candidate for this highly rewarding job will be professional, motivated, and ready to learn. Previous customer service experience required.
Schedule: 7pm-7am, Saturday-Sunday
Pay: $18/hrThe position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by:
- Performs the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy
- Provides lead direction at assigned client site(s) on assigned shift(s); acts to ensure that post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that adequate reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations
- Assists in the training of Security Officers and review of post orders • In conjunction with company management or designated company representatives acts to ensure adequate security coverage of all posts
- Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required
- Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities
- Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service

Requirements:
