Job Details
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, the Electrical Engineer is responsible to- Create, update, validate electrical designs and drawings covering power distribution, control systems, and instrumentation for all areas of operations
- Update system drawings and the site wide power distribution system model
- Perform equipment failure analysis and make appropriate recommendations
- Review proposed equipment replacement or upgrades including capital projects
- Provide cost estimates for engineering projects
- Work with other engineers and maintenance department to complete projects (Planning, Scheduling, Reliability)
- Support the operations and maintenance teams with troubleshooting and continuous improvement
- Coordinate and manage various “key” projects with “shutdown/outages”
- Schedule and coordinating with contractors for capital projects/major maintenance
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited college/university in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or Computer Engineering
- Experience in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
- Combination of various training and experience in Maintenance/Supervision could be considered an asset
