The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years we have expanded to 36 branch locations, within 9 states.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager will oversee and coordinate the entire warehouse operations.

Hours and Wages

• Monday - Friday, 4PM start time
• Exempt, salary position $65,000 - $ 75,000 based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including scheduling, monitoring warehouse staff, attendance, performance and operation productivity
• Assist in the interviewing, training, and onboarding of warehouse staff
• Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
• Participate in the disciplinary and termination process of warehouse staff in accordance with company policy
• Ensure trailer cuts and after-hours pick-ups are completed for timely delivery to other branches
• Manage security of the yard and building
• Hold weekly meetings to communicate goals and assignments
• Forecast peak delivery periods and issue appropriate work assignments
• Streamline logistics for cost-effectiveness and efficiency in warehouse operations
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality guidelines
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Ability to manage and coordinate a variety of shipping methods

• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Through understanding of applicable federal, state, local and company safety policies
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field preferred
• Five years of experience in distribution or transportation industry preferred
• Must hold or obtain a valid forklift certification
• Must hold a valid CDL Class A driver's license

Physical Requirements

• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively and up to 100 pounds occasionally
• Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight in the warehouse
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
