The Sewing Machine Operator will be working with the production team to ensure the manufacturing process is completed in a timely manner. The Sewing Machine Operator will be accountable for the following but not limited to just these responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Measure and cut accurately
• Sew fabrics using all sewing machines as necessary
• Calculate material requirements
• Willing to sew on all fabrics (dirty, itchy, heavy, big and small items)
• Preform basic maintenance on sewing equipment
• Ability to read and interpret job ticket that is in English
• Ability to write and speak English sufficient to communicate about work related job ticket
• Ability to read understand and pass pertinent internal hiring tests
• Ability to maintain clean and safe work environment
• Ability to learn new job functions as required

Qualifications:

• Sewing experience with prior industrial sewing experience preferred
• Ability to manually cut material
• Ability to follow instructions
• Attention to detail
• Ability to think 3-5 steps ahead in a project
• Strong math skills
• Great communication
